Lanark United win Clydesdale Cup Final
LANARK United's new signing from East Kilbride, winger Paul Woods, scored a stunning opener in Monday night's 2-0 Clydesdale Cup Final victory over Lesmahagow Juniors at Moor Park.
Woods picked up the ball just inside the 'Gow half before going on a fine run past four defenders and slotting the ball home after 48 minutes.
United skipper Davy Gray sealed the club's 12th Clydesdale Cup victory in 14 years by netting a second after a 68th minute corner by Alan McFadden.
