Better show but Barrhill lack punch
Stirling and District AFA
Premier League
After not having a game last week Barrhill travelled to Stirling to play last year’s East of Scotland Cup finalists and were looking for a better performance from the game two weeks ago.
The visitors started well with some good passing football which was pleasing to watch.

Hide AdBraehead should have scored in the first half with at least three good chances, but they looked to be in the same boat as Barrhill needing someone prolific in front of goal.
Stevenson had some good saves in the first to keep the visitors in the game.
The second half was all Barrhill as their fitness looked to be playing a major part in the game. Strikers T. Malone and Hopkins doing all their work outside the box with Malone’s hold up play and first-touch setting up Divine, Hopkins and P. Malone.
Young McLean was linking up brilliantly with Quinn in the middle of the park.

Hide AdBarrhill should have scored the winner when the ball was played into the box and Hopkins brought a great save from the home keeper.
All round a far better performance from the whole team who were just unlucky not to come away with three points.
Man of the Match went to McClean.
Barrhill: Stevenson, Bell, Fulton, Johnson, Duffy, P. Malone, Divine, Quin, McClean, Hopkins, T. Malone. Subs: Heeps, O’Neill, Hopkins.
