Sheep raises £840 for charity at Lanark Auction Market
Owner Gordon Graham put Kypeview Maggie, an in-lamb Texel, up for sale at the Scottish Texel Club sale that day in aid of Help for Heroes, the charity dedicated to helping and supporting wounded servicemen returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.

Hide Adserviceman myself and my son is currently serving with the intelligence corps in the Army and so this is a charity very close to my heart.
"I decided to put one of my best sheep — named after my mum Maggie — up for sale in aid of the fund."
The sheep actually sold for 800 guineas (840) to an Ayrshire buyer at Lanark on Saturday.
