Conference gives tenants opportunity to improve council housing service
The theme of this year’s event is – ‘NL Homes – Building Your Future’.
Tenants from across North Lanarkshire are being encouraged to become more involved in their housing service by going along and playing their part.

Hide AdThe conference brings together tenants and residents, partner agencies and voluntary organisations who have the same shared interests.
Participants can enjoy a packed programme of workshops, hear from a wide range of speakers and visit the popular market place.
The focus for this year’s workshops, are: Estate Walkabouts; Antisocial Behaviour/Doorstep Crime; Energy Efficiency/Saltire; Rent Setting; Smarter Homes – Homes of the Future and Welfare Reform.

Hide Ad“The event gives people an opportunity to speak directly to staff delivering housing services and people will also hear about the changes and improvements we’ve made.
“This year’s workshops highlight the issues that matter most to our tenants and residents.
“I’m looking forward to another great turnout and would encourage any tenants who’ve not come along before to be part of this year’s event.”
Throughout the year the council offers a wide range of formal and informal options to enable tenants to get involved with the housing service.
