A South Lanarkshire takeaway has been handed a new "improvement required" food hygiene rating.

Taste of India, a takeaway at 43b Main Street, Rutherglen, Glasgow was given the score after assessment on September 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Lanarkshire's 186 takeaways with ratings, 146 (78%) have pass ratings and 40 (22%) require improvement.
