MOTHERWELL Football Club’s search for first team players of the future came to Carluke’s Burn Road astroturf during the Easter school holiday fortnight.
Coaches from the side currently sitting second in the SPL taught soccer skills to 50 youngsters each week at the Milton Rovers facility.
Motherwell FC community engagement officer Derek Watson said: “We were really pleased that so many kids, aged between five and 15, attended the sessions.
“Some of the boys and girls were absolutely fantastic.
“It wasn’t just their ability; it was their commitment and desire to play football.
“Hopefully some of them will go through the various playing ranks of Motherwell FC in the future.”
