Lesmahagow girl Lauren Forrest is showjumping star

LESMAHAGOW showjumping starlet Lauren Forrest already has an impressive CV in the sport which would be the envy of many more experienced riders.

Lauren (8), of Hoodshill Farm, even defeated adult riders during one recent triumph, in what was a truly astonishing accomplishment for one so young.

“I’m tickled pink that Lauren is doing so well,” said her proud mum Vicky (38).

“These are remarkable achievements because Lauren has only been riding for 18 months.

“They are very good going for someone who is only eight years old.”

Lauren – competing on her ponies Apache and Dancer respectively – had a victory and a second place at last month’s Jetset Series final at Muirmill Equestrian Centre in Ayrshire.
