Lanark Amateur Swimming Club’s Jack McComish won seven swims out of seven when competing for Scotland at the Great Britain DSE Senior Open Championships in Ponds Forge, Sheffield, last weekend.

Jack was victorious in the 100m butterfly; 100m breaststroke; 50m, 100m, and 400m freestyle; 100m and 200m individual medley. He then added another gold medal to his haul when the Scottish Team won the relay event.

Jack smashed six Great Britain Senior records, and also set three new Club records.

Then to cap his outstanding performance he was delighted to be awarded the ‘Best Male Performer’ Trophy. This senior award completed the double for Jack this year as he was awarded the ‘Best Male Junior Performer’ Trophy in February.
