TEENAGER Jennifer Wisdom enjoyed competing against some of Britain’s best in the recent National Dressage Championships.
Sixteen-year-old Jen, who lives in Carluke, has had a tremendous year winning a number of titles in both the prelim and novice classes of competitions.
And she was given the chance to show exactly what she could do by taking part against professional riders at the Championships at Stoneleigh.
She finished a very creditable ninth in the Prelim class on board her Welsh pony Pentrefelin Serena.
Proud mum Gillian said: “This is a remarkable achievement.
“For an amateur schoolgirl to get in the prizegiving at her first Nationals on a native pony is outstanding.
“It’s like me trying to take on Usain Bolt in a 100m race.”
