Hide AdColts co-manager Craig McKinlay believes the club’s inclusion represents a ‘fantastic’ opportunity for the club and the town.
But he knows his side face a tough test to establish themselves.
They open against a Whitehill Welfare side who lost 2-1 at home to Threave Rovers in their opening match on Saturday and then face reigning champions Edinburgh City at Broadwood on Saturday.
McKinlay said: “Whitehill will be a tough test. They lost their opening game on Saturday so they will be looking to bounce back from that and put it right.

We’re well organised and everyone is really looking forward to it. It’s a fresh challenge for all of us.”
The Colts co-boss said he and James Orr’s initial aim is simply to consolidate their position in the league, but that in the longer term he wants to develop a brand of football which will encourage supporters along.
He said: “We are realistic, it’s going to be tough. There are a lot of established teams in there but we just want to go in there and establish ourselves and play the type of football that suits us.
