CARLUKE bowling star Kimberley Harrison reckons that being picked to play for Scotland at the Junior World Championships in Australia is just Oz-some!
Kimberley (19), of Ramage Road, will be part of the four-player Scotland squad going for gold at Broadbeach Bowling Club on the Gold Coast from March 7 to 15.
She said: “To be selected in the team is amazing.
“I’m delighted to get the opportunity to play in the championships as Australia is a place I have always wanted to go.”
To add extra drama to Kimberley’s selection for the World Championships, proud dad Stewart revealed that she only landed her dream trip Down Under after the withdrawal of fellow Scotland star Stacey Laidlaw.
