Lesmahagow Juniors have named Billy McDonald as the club’s new manager.
The former Partick Thistle star emerged as the outstanding candidate for the job in a head to head contest against interim manager Gerry Bonham.
The 10-strong Lesmahagow committee voted unanimously for McDonald to get the job, after he impressed during a one-hour interview on Tuesday night.
He will take charge of the team for the first time in this Saturday’s away game at St Roch’s.
