TEENAGE rally sensation Andy Struthers is gearing up for the fourth round of the ARR Craib Scottish Rally Championship this weekend.
Andy, from Libberton, will compete in the Jim Clark Reivers Rally, named after the legendary Formula One driver which will consist of five very challenging and technical stages.
The junior driver did not finish last month’s Granite City Rally due to a minor offroad excursion resulting in a burst radiator.
He said: “Since the previous round we have repaired the car and I am feeling a lot more confident going into this weekend’s event.
“Once again I am very grateful to Andrew Pemberton for allowing me to continue to use his car whilst mine is being built.
“There has been a significant improvement in my seeding since my first event in February which will give me a little bit of confidence for this weekend’s event.”
Almost 80 crews will take to the new look Jim Clark Reivers Rally this year.
The event will take place on gravel unlike previous years when it has been a tarmac event.
