Lomond Woods Holiday Park

Offering glamping pods that sleep up to six people, this peaceful holiday park is located on the southern shore of Loch Lomond. All of the accommodation here comes fully equipped with all mod cons including kitchen appliances and a heater. The deluxe en-suite pods also offer their own private bathrooms, as opposed to shared facilities.

Camping Pod Heaven

Located on the north west side of Loch Ness, Camping Pod Heaven near Inverness has several pods with room for up to four people in each. Mattresses are provided at no extra charge, and each pod has its own private entrance, heating, electrical sockets and a stunning mountain view. Shared toilet facilities are located nearby.

Eigg Camping Pods

Travel to the beautiful and community-owned island of Eigg in the Hebrides by ferry and make yourself at home in one of their camping pods.

The three pods sleep up to four people who don’t mind getting cosy together on a large bed which folds down into two sofas.

Toilet and showering facilities are located next to the nearby island shop and tea room. Though electricity is limited on the island, the accommodation comes with a double socket with two USB charging points, an electric kettle and lighting. An electric heater will kick in automatically if the weather is cold.

Gorsebank Glamping Village

Home to a range of camping pods, the glamping village at Gorsebank (in Dumfries and Galloway) is nestled in 80 acres of peaceful woodland, with horses and sheep roaming nearby. Varying in size, the pods here sleep a maximum of four people on comfortable foam mattresses, which double up as sofas during the day. All pods come equipped with a kettle, a small fridge, heating, lighting and a power point inside, as well as an outdoor firepit. There is also the option of paying extra for a wood-fired hot tub just outside your cabin, so you can relax after a long day.

Ecocamp Glenshee

With a mixture of traditional camping pods and converted shepherds huts, Ecocamp Glenshee’s largest accommodation space (the Modulog Howff) sleeps up to 10 people, while their small romantic pods have just enough space for two. More decorated and homely than the majority of other camping pods, you’ll never want to leave this welcoming haven just south of Cairngorms National Park.

Loch Ness Glamping

The camping pods here are called ‘Armadillas’ because of their unique shape, and they are particularly luxurious inside. Each pod sleeps two people and has its own toilet wet room, cooking appliances, TV, wifi, underfloor heating and private barbecue and firepit. Some Armadillas can be paired for families, and dogs are welcome (with an extra £5 charge), so there’s room for everyone.
