Team Clydesdale – Andrea Gavin, Laura Clasper, Laura Taylor, Melissa Wardrope and Raymond Cooney, who work for Clydesdale Breaks 4 All service – took part in the Great Scottish Run. They hope to raise £1500.

“We all had an amazing day being part of a mass participation event with so many people all raising funds for their own charities,” said Andrea.

“The children and families who Capability Scotland supports were in our minds at all points through the race,”

The money they raise will provide additional treats and outings for the children such as Hallowe’en and Christmas parties, and a trip to see Santa.

“We have all been training very hard,” said Andrea.

“We are all passionate about the service so it makes training go that little bit easier, knowing that we are raising money which will benefit the children and families we support.

Colleagues unable to participate in the run were there cheering them on.
