Men attacked after drinking in Kirkintilloch pub

Police are hunting three thugs who attacked two men as they walked home from the pub.

The men from Kilsyth were assaulted at around 4.30am on Saturday, July 11, after drinking in Club Bliss, Kirkintilloch.

The victims were walking from Kirkintilloch via Kilsyth Road, Queenzieburn, whilst trying to flag down a taxi.

A short time later a car - possibly a blue hatchback - stopped and three men jumped out. They assaulted the two walkers before making off in the car.

Fortunately the victims did not require any hospital treatment.

Police are urging anyone with any information to come forward via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
