Let's get in bloom again
An information evening will take place in Burngreen Hall at 6pm on March 18 where all Kilsythians can find out how they can get involved, or just learn a little more about this year's plans.
Fiona Murdoch, community co-ordinator for the town's bid, hopes everyone will be inspired by the 2009 debut success of Kilsyth in Bloom.

Support is invited from community groups and organisations, individuals, neighbourhood gardeners, local businesses, schools and churches.
"Your ideas and suggestions for areas that could be included on the judging route, information about your community projects or photographs of the town will be welcomed and anyone with an interest in their community, horticulture, the environ-ment or local heritage is welcome to come along and join the Kilsyth in Bloom campaign."
Judging will take place at the beginning of August and will be based on horticultural achievement, cleanliness, environmental responsibility and community effort.
