Lanimer Day Beating of the Retreat 2014 Slideshow

THE Evening Spectacular provided a glorious finale to a wonderful Lanimer Day 2014.

The weather held and, on a warm evening, the crowds lined the Cross to watch massed bands, the silver and pipe bands which had already taken part in the procession and played in Castlebank Park.

And if they were exhausted by their long day the bandsmen did not show it for they produced a brilliant piece of entertainment.
