A trio of the area’s female artists who share a love of horses are also to share the To on Thurlbooth in Lanark for most of next month with an exhibition of their equestrian art.

The invite to ‘Giddy Up’ comes from Jacqueline McAteer, Kirsten Harris and Anj Jamieson, all well known for their animal portraiture.

With Jacqueline coming from Nemphlar, Kisten from Carnwath and Anj from Whitburn, this truly is a display of local artistic talent.

The exhibition is opening with a private viewing on the evening of Thursday, September 6 and then is open to be public from September 7 to 29.

The display will be on during the Tolbooths normal opening hours and the works on show will be available for sale.
