Garden growing well at St Cadoc’s
Primary three pupils at St Cadoc’s Primary have been working hard to transform previously unloved areas of playground into a magical new garden.
The youngsters wrote to supermarkets received welcome donations from Sainsbury’s in Darnley and Morrisons, Giffnock. They then worked alongside teachers and the school janitor, Mr Campbell, to create a vegetable patch, fairy garden and squirrel garden.
Guests attended a grand garden opening last Thursday, and one pupil commented: “I have two favourite parts; the fairy door because it’s so cute, and the wacky welly wall.”
