Falck Renewables, owners of the Auchrobert, Nutberry and West Browncastle wind farms, have launched a scheme to help prospective students of renewable energy with some of the expenses they incur while studying.

Richard Dibley, managing director of Falck Renewables, said: “One of our main aims at Falck is to be a good neighbour in the areas in which we have our wind farms.

“We are particularly keen to help young people and hope that by offering some financial support for things such as travel/commuting expenses, equipment or software more people might be encouraged to consider studying for a qualification in a subject related to renewable energy.”
