Officers are appealing for the assistance of the public in trying to locate a 63 year-old man missing since Sunday, August 19.
Thomas Forrest (63), known locally as Tam, from Carlisle Road, Crawford was last seen leaving Wishaw General Hospital around 2pm on Sunday, walking in the direction of Netherton Street.
Thomas is white, around 5ft. 2” in height with a medium build and grey receding hair. When last seen, he was wearing dark clothes, grey training shoes and possibly carrying a carrier bag.

We are continuing to speak to family and friends for any information which could assist us in locating Thomas and we know he often visits the Lanark area so we are also carrying out enquiries in that location.
Inspector McCutcheon continued: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the Wishaw Hospital area on Sunday afternoon who may have seen Thomas to get in touch. If anyone has any information regarding Thomas or his whereabouts, please do contact us. I would also appeal to motorists to review any dash cam footage to see if an image of Thomas has been captured on their footage.”
