Jamie Waugh was last seen by friends around 4.30am on Sunday, January 31, when he left an address in Glen Avenue, Larkhall, with the intention of going to another friend's address.

No-one has seen or heard from him since and he was reported missing to police on 6 Februa.

Jamie is white, around 5’11” tall, with brown, receding hair and blue eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a black t-shirt, navy blue zipper top, black Adidas shorts and grey trainers. He has a tattoo on his right arm with the letters JAMIE and a skull roses tattoo on his left arm.

Extensive enquiries are under way to locate Jamie, with specialist search officers and mountain rescue teams involved in the search, but have been unsuccessful.

His family and friends are extremely concerned for him and his wellbeing.

Jamie has links to Larkhall and Blantyre, and enquiries continue in those locations.

Sergeant Audrey Peat said: "It is out of character for Jamie not to be in touch with friends or family for this length of time.

“They are extremely concerned about him. I would appeal to anyone who has seen Jamie or who has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to contact us.

"His family just want to know he is safe and well."

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland via 101.
