New quad bikes already proving their worth for Lanarkshire cops

Sergeant Tommy McAuley said: "The Community Policing Team were deployed on quad bikes this weekend due to ongoing issues at the Dalquhandy site regarding anti-social behaviour.

“We are already seeing the benefits of these bikes with several ASB tickets/warnings issued.

“The team would like to thank the various private land owners and wind turbine operators, who raised funds for the bikes.

“It’s a huge step forward in tackling and preventing anti-social behaviour on private land and giving local reassurance."
