Crawford Gala was hailed a success by organisers after the weather proved kind and families turned out in force.
There was a mass of entertainment and for the first time in a few years floats were entered into the parade.
“It was such a good day,” said chairman Alison Keteb. “We had a brilliant day.”
Lisa Bell, at 10 years old one of the youngest gala queens, was the star of the show when she was crowned by former committee chairwoman Molly Wilkinson.
River City actor Tom Urie was MC for the day and announcer for the afternoon’s races.
