CARLUKE resident Suzanne Darroch is worried about wind turbines almost as high as the Forth Road Bridge being built in countryside outside the front of her home.

Suzanne (58), who has lived in a small farmhouse in Yieldshields Road for 12 years, says that the eight-turbine windfarm – with windmills up to 130m high – would “impact on my life tremendously” if it was built.

“They are very large turbines which would ruin the rural landscape around here,” she said.
