AFTER an impressive performance on Later...with Jools Holland in September, Tennessee-raised, soul-songstress Chastity Brown is heading back to the UK in July 2015 for a string of UK live dates and festivals.
And after London she heads for Biggar, where she will play the Municipal Hall on Wednesday, July 15.
Chastity is working on her new album, due for UK release near the end of the year, and will be showcasing some of her new tracks, as well as live favourites .
Her 2013 album ‘Back-Road Highways’ received huge critical acclaim and was a favourite among reviewers’ Top 10 end of year lists.
Chastity’s style is a mix of Gospel, Roots & Soul, Jazz, Blues & Country, with songs born deep in the American bone, the hunger, desperation and confidence that runs through our times.
