LANARK Agricultural Centre was packed to the rafters as hundreds of people enjoyed this year’s Clydesdale Foal Show.
The 74th annual show, which is organised by the Lanark, Biggar and Peebles Foal Show Society, was a huge success and the horses and foals on show were a big hit with the audience.
It was the highest attendance of spectators for a long time, with enthusiasts from France, Northern Ireland, England and all corners of Scotland there.
And in living memory, it attracted a record entry of Clydesdale horses.
For more information on the show, pick up a copy of this week’s Carluke and Lanark Gazette which is out now.
