THERE’S plenty of events to suit everyone’s tastes across Clydesdale this weekend.
There is a school reunion for those who started Lanark Primary School in 1960 at the Cartland Bridge Hotel on Saturday evening while fans of Frankie Valli can enjoy the superb stage show The New Jersey Boys at Lanark Memorial Hall on the same night.
Carluke Bowling Club’s opening takes place on Saturday afternoon with an evening social with Sandra & Sol.
Over in Forth the village gala committee is hosting an event in the Royal British Legion with music from The Suspects from 6.30pm.
And the latest Wee Gig concert will see talented young folk star Luke Jackson take to the Roberton Village Hall stage at 8pm.
On Sunday there will be a tea dance with Gordon Cree from 2pm at St Andrew’s Church in Carluke while in the evening members of Lanark and Carluke Choral Union will be performing Haydn’s Creation in Lanark’s St Mary’s Church from 7.30pm.
