ART and nature have really come together with a new exhibition by a Biggar artist being held in some of Scotland’s most beautiful surroundings.
Artist Ted Bowen is having a show of nearly 40 of his works in the Dawyck Botanic Gardens near Stobo, just a few miles into the Borders from his studio.
After studying as a silversmith at the Birmingham College of Art, Ted turned to `2-D’ art and relocated to Biggar eight years ago.
He told the Gazette: “The work on show is colourful, uses a variety of media and shows combined images taken from the beautiful garden over the past year.
“Some of the work is heavily textured and there is an element of humour in the titles.”
Dawyck Delights by Ted Bowen is on from now until May during the normal garden opening times of 10am to 5pm.
