THE 2013 Feather Festival at New Lanark proved a great family day out with plenty of activities for all ages.
As the name suggests, birds played a significant part in the event which was organised to raise money for the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
A team from Clyde Valley Birds of Prey provided impressive flying displays which were enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Organiser Lyndsay Mark said: “It was a really good family day out.”
Gazette photographer Lindsay Addison was on hand to capture the wildlife extravaganza and his pictures are used here in our slideshow.
