THE ultimate 1940s and 1950s harmony groups will be appearing in Lanark later this week.
The Memphis Belles members have been singing in a variety of groups for the past 13 years.
But they have joined forces to recapture hits such as Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree, Mr Sandman and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
The Belles have performed all across the country, including at London’s Armed Forces Day celebrations last year, and are looking forward to coming up north for the night.
The Memphis Belles will be appearing at Lanark Memorial Hall on Friday, February 27, at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £14 adults (£12 concs), are available by calling the Memo Box Office on 01555 667999 or by logging onto the South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture website.
