CLYDESDALE opera fans can see one of Scotland’s rising stars in a production of Madame Butterfly in Lanark later this week.
The production, presented and adapted by dynamic Scottish company Opera Bohemia, will perform the Puccini masterpiece in the Memorial Hall on Saturday night.
The group’s production, which is set in modern-day Japan, has already received fantastic reception from audiences across the country as well as excellent reviews from critics with one national newspaper proclaiming Opera Bohemia “one of the most exciting new opera companies in the country”.
Rising Scottish star Catriona Clark will be playing the role of Cio-Cio San which includes the singing of the famous aria One Fine Day.
Madame Butterfly by Opera Bohemia will be performed in Lanark Memorial Hall on Saturday, November 22, at 7.45pm.
