IT WAS a case of Scots Wahey for Lanark Primary pupils as they recited poems at their annual Scots Night.
Three youngsters from every class delivered an impressive range of classic Scots ditties.
Eventual winner was P7 pupil Elannah Noonan, who secured the Mari Muir Award with the Robert Burns classic The Tarbolton Lasses.
Lanark Primary head teacher Margaret Scott said: “The standard of performances was excellent. They performed their wee socks off.”
It was certainly enjoyed by the 200+ strong crowd who packed into the school to see the wee ones shine.
