THERE’S plenty of live music to enjoy in Lanark this weekend as the town’s Music Connections takes place.
While the legendary Dougie MacLean performs at the Memo on Friday, The John Coletta Band will be entertaining at Images and folk heroes Haggerdash will be at the Horse and Jockey.
Other acts on Friday night will be Peacock Waters at the Wallace Cave, Trilogy at The Wee Man’s and The John Reilly Connection, Blackthorn Buck and Kid Turpentine at the Woodpecker.
On Saturday night Drever McGuire Young and Touchwood will be in The Crown, Patsy Matheson will be at the Horse and Jockey and Gentleman Prefer Ledwith will be rocking the Wallace Cave; there will also be jam sessions in the afternoon.
