THIS may only be the third annual Gentle Giant Festival but it’s fast becoming a favourite fixture in the Forth calendar.
The event, named after George Gracie, formerly Scotland’s tallest man, was held in four Forth venues and attracted impressive crowds to all four. Every style of music was catered for, from punk and folk to dance music.
Folkies felt at home in the Talisker while acoustic acts took to the stage at the Inns; punk fans made their way to the Royal British Legion while the Masonic Hall was also packed with music fans.
Performers included Touchwood, Twisted Rainbow, Blackthorn Buck, the Aldo Thomson Trio, George Simpson and teenager Heather Young.
