FANS of folk music will be flocking to Douglas this weekend as the annual Douglasdale Folk Festival takes place.
And the folkies are in for a real treat on Friday and Saturday night as the sixth annual festival really comes to life in the village’s St Bride’s Centre.
As usual there will be an eclectic mix of local artists and talent from further afield.
American Cera Impala and her band The New Prohibition will headline Friday’s show along with Jimmy McGill and duo Fine Tuesday.
Saturday will see Belfast outfit Craobh Rua take to the stage alongside mother and daughter duo from Stonehouse Helen and Heather Young and Wanlockhead guitarist Dave Gibb.
If you would like tickets for either of the St Bride’s shows contact Billy Ormiston on 07851 861384.
