ONE group entertaining the children – and their parents! – at the Castlebank Harvest Festival in Lanark last weekend was literally Wild About Lanark.
In the 18 months since it was set up, it has challenged families to enjoy getting dirty together in the great outdoors.
That Sunday it organised a scavenger hunt, but its activities include woodland crafts, den-building and slacklines – a bit like tightropes but less rigid! – and making campfires.
