VERSATILE Canadian singer-songwriter Annabelle Chvostek is the latest international star to star in this year’s Wee Gig series of concerts.

Annabelle is an acclaimed nominated singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of Toronto and Montreal and has been nominated for a series of Juno Awards, Canada’s version of The Brits.

Between 1997 and 2004, she released three independent albums and an EP, toured Europe and performed across North America with artists like Po’Girl, Rae Spoon and Barlywick.

In 2004, she joined the Juno-winning Wailin’ Jennys, a gig that took her from obscurity to international acclaim. Du

In her two and a half years with the Jennys, Annabelle earned herself Juno nominations for Best Roots and Best Traditional Album.
