Youngsters aged up to 18 years old were invited to capture the animal kingdom on camera or on a mobile device for this year’s RSPCA Young Photographer Awards.

Molly said: “I’m so happy that the judges liked my photo so much.

“I used my Samsung phone to take this photo of one of our pet lambs called Boa who has a lot of energy and loves jumping.

“We put some square hay bales together for them as shelter from the winds when they were in the field although it turned out to be a perfect platform for them to jump off.”

This year’s awards were blind-judged online by a panel of experts in wildlife photography, including TV presenter and RSPCA vice-president Chris Packham.
