5. Glasgow QM Union Headlock Vintage Clothing Sale
If you are looking to get some new clothes for the New Year, why not head along to the Queen Margaret Union on Monday 15 January and have a look through the rails. Obviously if anything takes your fancy you'll have to pay for the item but entry to the event is free.
6. GRAMNet Film Series Launch: Name Me Lawand
GRAMnet (Glasgow Refugee and Migration Network) returns with another film series as they will screen Edward Lovelace’s Name Me Lawand on Thursday 18 January.
7. Burns Family Crafternoon
To celebrate the Bard's birthday, the National Library of Scotland at Kelvin Hall will be hosting an afternoon of themed activities for all the family on Saturday 27 January. They will also be screening a 1958 animation of Tam O’Shanter with entry being completely free making it a great family day out.

Head along to the Whisky Bond on the banks of the canal at the end of January and enjoy an afternoon of tours around The Glasgow School of Art Archives and Collections, Glasgow Sculpture Studios and The Distillery co-working space
