MILTON Stars shone brightly this season, when they won an incredible treble of trophies.
The Coalburn squad stormed to victory in the SYFA Tom Young Challenge Cup, Lanarkshire YMCA U14 League and Lanarkshire YMCA U14 League Cup.
"The boys are absolutely delighted," club convenor Alan Weir said.
"It is the best season we have ever had.
"The dedication of the boys and the amount of effort they have put in has been excellent."
Alan said that the club's new fitness coach has greatly improved the players' physical condition.
He said: "We're really strong in the last 25 minutes of games these days, just as other teams are tiring."
Milton wrapped up the league title with a 2-1 home win in their third last fixture against Mossend.
In torrential rain, Milton took the lead late in the first half following an interception by Innes in midfield. He sent Weir free, and he drilled the ball home with the outside of his foot as the keeper advanced.
Milton continued to drive forward in the second half, with Wallace, Meikle and Weir controlling the midfield.
A Jamieson own goal brought Mossend level with 15 minutes to go.
But Milton scored the winner when Weir collected a Dearie pass and clamly slotted the ball home.
