THIS week’s Gazette Sport includes interviews with young Clydesdale sporting marvels Jack Harrison and Cameron Watkins, who both won medals at the 2012 International Children’s Games in Daegu, South Korea.

Jack was part of the boys football team who triumphed at their third successive Games, while swimmer Cameron won a bronze medal in the 100m freestyle.

We also have a full round-up of Carluke Rovers’ fantastic Clydesdale Cup triumph, which featured an outstanding 5-2 final victory over Lanark United at Moor Park on Monday evening.

And Gazette Sport turns the spotlight on the demise of Carluke Tigers rugby league side, which has become defunct less than two years after becoming Scottish champions.

For more information on all of these stories, pick up a copy of this week’s Carluke and Lanark Gazette which will be in the shops from this Wednesday, August 1.
