IN what could very well be an unprecedented moment at any Clydesdale bowling green opening, it was a two-year-old boy who did the official honours at the 2013 launch of Forth and Wilsontown Bowling Club!
Step forward Ross Neilson, who delivered the opening bowl of the season when helping his dad, club president Billy Neilson, to officially open the 2013 campaign at Forth.
In what was a true family affair, Billy’s mum Catherine also delivered the opening jack.
Club secretary Sandy Kerr was very impressed with Ross’s contribution to the big day, even suggesting that the youngster could be top man at the club one day.
