ENTRIES are pouring in for this year’s Tom Scott Road Race – a tribute to the late Law runner – at Strathclyde Park on Sunday, April 5.

And race organiser Robert Benyon is confident that a combined total of around 400 runners will take part in the main 10-mile race and 7km Round the Loch fun run.

Robert said: “The previous highest number of entries we’ve had was 350 in 2012 and I’m optimistic we can beat that.

“This will be the fourth year that our 10-mile race has been upgraded to Scottish Championship level.

“Scottish Athletics has chosen us over Edinburgh to host this country’s premier 10-mile event.”
