THREE out of the four Clydesdale junior football sides lost on Saturday with only Lanark United saving it from being a clean sweep.

John Brogan’s men ran out 4-3 winners against Benburb in Central Division 1 to continue their good run of results.

However, elsewhere in Division 1, promotion hopefuls Lesmahagow went down 1-0 to Bellshill while Carluke Rovers lost 3-2 to Blantyre Vics at the John Cumming Stadium.

In Central Division 2 Forth’s poor season continued when they went down 5-3 to Vale of Leven.
