IN another action-packed edition of Gazette Sport, we profile Carluke’s newly-opened Planet Jiu Jitsu club giving smaller fighters the chance to learn a martial art giving them the necessary tools to beat much bigger opponents.

We also interview new Carluke Rovers signing Ian Watt – who has joined on loan from Queens Park until the end of the season – and reveal how Lanark Amateur Swimming Club members won umpteen medals at the Scottish Schools Championships.

We profile Gareth Greenshields, who is organising charity football matches to take place at Carluke’s John Cumming Stadium to raise money for cancer charities.
