YOUTH scouts from SPL sides Motherwell and Rangers are reportedly showing an interest in star kids from Gow Valley 13s, winners of a league and cup double this season.

The Lesmahagow outfit beat Wishaw Wycombe 3-1 in the LFDA Cup Final at Carluke’s John Cumming Stadium on May 20, thanks to goals by Jamie McDonald, Kain Adams and Keiran Laing. This came in the wake of Gow Valley’s impressive LFD league win which saw them finish top without losing a game.
