Lesmahagow’s Milton Primary School triumphs at football and netball

IN what’s been a fantastic run of success for Milton Primary, the Lesmahagow school has won the Clydesdale Schools Football League for the very first time.

To complete a brilliant treble, the team – managed by Jim Murray – also won the Summer Cup and Dr Gardiner Trophy titles.

Milton Primary headteacher Jean Glencorse said: “Winning the treble is a brilliant achievement and I’m really pleased for the team.”
