A REALLY n-ice time was had by all at this area’s second international wheelchair curling competition at Lanarkshire Ice Rink in Hamilton last Tuesday and Wednesday.

But the battle for supremacy between eight teams – including three Scotland sides featuring South Lanarkshire Wheelchair Curling Club members – proved to be far from frosty.

South Lanarkshire WCC chairman Arthur Bell said: “It was a good tournament which saw a Viking one-two with Sweden beating Norway 8-4 in the final.”
